LC MEETING FOR JULY 29th

Hey AIESEC! Hey AIESEC!!!  

HOW ARE WE FEELING?

The vibe was low at first but it quickly changed. The meeting was chaired by Idono (She's so confident and funny). We were asked to say our names, the meaning, how it reflects in our lives and if we would change our names if we got the chance to. There were  so many lovely interpretations of names and a few scary ones too, and we found out that some people have multiple names and still get names every year.

 Idono:  “NAME IS AN IDENTITY AND HAVING AN IDENTITY KEEPS YOU GROUNDED”, well said Idono.

After all the fun introductions, we had a session on SALES. We all know that Recruitment is on-going and we are to sell Exchange, so we needed this to give us hints on how to sell AIESEC for recruitment and Exchange, which is one of AIESEC’s main product. You really missed out on this if you were not around because we learnt not only about selling AIESEC but also about selling anything, any product to anyone/organization. Now we know the “DO’S and the DON’T’S” of sales.

We had a few people try to sell AIESEC. It was better than before but we need to improve.

NOTE: For recruitment, our target is selling 200 forms. We are urged to take this seriously. As seriously as we take exchange . We don’t want to be the only one’s to experience all that AIESEC has to offer.

Before we forget, our lovely interns were around, seems like they are enjoying our country (finger snaps) It’s up to us to help make their experience wonderful, let’s entertain them as best as we can. And if you are eager to know the meaning of their names……….well don’t miss the next meeting J
