Adjust your sails, Join AIESEC.
"I can't change the direction of the wind but i can adjust my sails to always reach my destination"- Jimmy Dean
A semester has just passed. With it, exams have come and gone. Results are out. Heart rates are rising. The smell of fear is everywhere.
As some people check, their faces fall. The disappointment is so heavy that it is capable of crushing.
You might be one of those people. You need to remember that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. You need to remember your GP doesn't define you. You need to remember school is a part of life, not life itself.
Hope may seem pointless at this time but it is not over. Not yet. Not ever. Steve Jobs, a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s, a
a revolutionary of six different industries; music, digital publishing, animated movies, phones, personal computer, tablet computing and also a college drop-out said " you can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards".
This means you can not know what you will do today that will help you tomorrow, you can only know what you did yesterday that is helping you right now. So, be different now, adjust your sails to the direction of the wind.
One of the ways you can adjust your sails is by being in AIESEC!
You've already done that, now all you have to do is take hold of the endless opportunities. Dont be shy ;)
Go on exchange! Become the best member in your FA! Do something different!
And don't forget to study and work hard. That also helps :)
Have a great week.
