THE FA SUMMIT 2017

Amazing! Awesome! Enlightening!
These 3 words were all over people’s lips during and after the FA summit.

“This is my first conference since my induction. I’ve really learnt a lot about AIESEC. Wura’s session was my fav!”- Omoo

“The CV writing class by push CV was my best part. The summit was nice. I learnt about sales, business transaction etiquette, EXPA” - Osaro

“My best sessions were the sales session, Mujidah’s session from day 1 and the CV writing class.“ - Praise

“The summit was educative and enlightening and I learnt all those AIESEC acronyms.” - Anita

For two days, AIESEC Lagos held the highly anticipated FA summit. Attendance wasn’t particularly encouraging but committed and soon to be committed AIESEC members were in attendance. Some for both days, others for either.

The summit was organised by the administration of the Game Changers as a means of getting people to be more aware of what AIESEC is about, what their individual FA’s are about and their roles in their respective FA’s

In the course of the two days, experienced FACI members from various works of life and the MC were present to handle the sessions.

In the house on Day 1, we had Mujidah, MCVP TM who took us on a brief history  of AIESEC, we were all reminded about the who, what and how of AIESEC; which most of us found very refreshing. Also, we had LCPs  from Jos and Abeokuta who took us on sessions about EXPA and opportunity portal. Hassan taught us about time management, the importance of setting goals and the news to prioritize.

We also had a representative from OLX talk to us about the OLX champ.

On day 2, MCVP finance Anne was in the house. She taught us six basic principles of finance. The beautiful and delectable Wura took a session on branding. Hassan took another session on EXPA and the AIESEC website. Tito, MCVP PD was also in the house to take a session on sales. Next up, we had Miss Karen and Mr Joshua from Push CV teach us how to write an outstanding CV and many other amazing speakers. All together, the sessions were enlightening. My personal favourites were the sales session by Tito and the CV writing class.

Just as much we are serious in AIESEC, we have our playful sides. In between sessions, we played games such as the massage game, "mingle, mingle, mingle" , balloon popping and so on. We danced roll call as usual. Shout out to Deborah, LCVP roll call.
