LC MEETING FOR MARCH 17TH

Hey AIESEC!!!

The last meeting for the semester started  by 3:30 instead of 3:00 because AIESECers are always late *rolls eyes*


As usual, meetings started with introductions. Then Mojola, MC extraordinaire decided to punish those who didn’t do anything for AIESEC during the week and those who were late (unfortunately, I was late, so I was a victim).

Next up, we had a FA summit review. Salim, Aishat, Abdullah and a couple of people recounted their experiences from the summit. Their reviews were awesome.

Then things got emotional with the next session anchored by Mojola called reflections. He shared stories about his mentor and his AIESEC story. He shared valuable lessons not just helpful for our journeys in AIESEC but in life in general. I learnt that my actions shouldn’t be to prove others wrong but to prove myself right. That’s deep!

 Ugo then came up to talk about how it doesn’t really matter that you have a role in AIESEC before you act. He said no matter the role you hold, the goal is always greater than the role. To remind of us our AIESEC goals, our application forms were brought in and we were all able to compare the goal we had set before coming into AIESEC with what we had in turn achieved so far. Inspiring session really!

Because AIESEC meetings aren’t complete without games. We played mingle mingle mingle and then in mingle groups we planned and executed a short drama to a song of our choice. This was absolutely hilarious!

Last up, Hassan came to share some of his grievances with a couple of AIESECers. Y’all should not stress Hassan abeg o. He announced that we would have two meetings during the holidays, one of which would be virtual and then the other physical, a house warming hangout. Don’t miss it guys. Stay woke!

Before we departed, we played a quick game of Dr Love. Hmmmn

And then it was a wrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw,  I forgot to mention that Mojola had a new co host this time,  the beautiful Moyo was his co host. Shout out to Moyo, you were awesome!.
