LC Meeting 26th February, 2016.

Hey AIESEC!!!

Firstly, I'm using this chance to say a hearty congratulations to all our AIESCers who are taking part in the present convocation ceremony to mark their graduation from the prestigious University of Lagos. From our current Local Committee President, Rachael Bassey, to our AIESECER of the Year 2015, Adetomiwa Jeminiwa, to a lot of other awesome AIESECers. I can't go all out here. You all deserve a separate blog post; don't worry it'll be awesome.

In the meantime, down to the issue at hand, last meeting was quite soft, with all the pink flowing around. Some guys were bringing their pink tougue as their touch of pink, I mean!! ANYway, I'm going to be quite boring today because I'm not in the mood (I've been carrying last this convocation, no rice for me!!!).

To summarize, We had two main events for me on Friday. First we got to share the awesomely motivating story of William Kamkwamba who is a malawian innovator, engineer and author who gained fame for building windmills in his poor hometown setting with very rudimentary materials. Y'all should check his story out, he inspires me. Anyways Rachel shared this printout on a story CNN did on him a few years back. We read it personally, digested it, shared it with our reading partner, brainstormed on how we could relate it to the current Nigerian situation and generally came up with thought-provoking ideas. We talked of the Sustainable Development goals even, quite a powerful forty-five minute session. Some of us came upstage to share, as usual our beautiful Alhajas featured (I'm beginning to think Rachel has a fetish *waggling my eyebrows*)

Beatrice!!! We've missed you

Paige trying to be on his best behaviour.

Hard-working, and thought-provoking session.

*Na wa oh, Is it by force to share*

(Left-Right)*mscheew, see all her teeth, not even white sef*

Na wa oh. See pink left and right

Two awesome(deja vu newees) members

Two more things people. It was quite a turnout today, not as much as it should be, but definitely more than the previous weeks' attendance. I'm a little impressed guys ( Impress me enough and I'll just spontaneously order Domino's at the meeting ;)). Second thing, pleaseee help me tell Rachael that it was a TOUCH (biko, a TOUCH) of pink!

She had pink umbrella people!

Secondly, we had a "So you think you can FACI" session. (kind of session sha). Anyways it was eye-opening for the participants and thorughly educative, I'm sure. We had four FACIs; Alexander, Oluwatomini Adebayo, Zainab Adekunle, Emmanuel Chukwuma. They are shown L-R in the picture below.
They did well and here are some pictures from when they were doing their thing. Emmanuel definitely always had his audience animated and involved in his sessions, he definitely was a 10. Anthony's utterly awesome, but intimidating eloquence must have bamboozled his audience. Tomi's voice must have charmed her's. And Zainab's enthusiasm and zeal was quite infectious. They were, and are all great guys.

This Olumide was probably trying to form caught off guard. SMH

Hahahaha. Somebody, look at Chidinma's face.

Forever keeping his people interested.
That's basically all for the day, people. I have no finishing statement, enjoy your convocation. Don't be left out, celebrate and have fun. See you next friday. I heard there's going to be a love feast, hmmnn!

Your boy,
Mojolaoluwa Mufadil Keshiro.
