Ugo: Hang around friends. Play video games

Interviewer: So serious struvs.. EB tenure almost over .. How did it feel to be LCP?

Ugo : There were times it felt great! IC was one of them: getting to meet LCPs from across the globe! WeCare times, hangout times, etc were all good times. There were times it wasn't so good, times I quarreled with my EB and members...But all in all I felt great being at the service of all and being responsible for their experiences

Interviewer: What were the challenges and highlights of your term??

Ugo: Challenges... One of the major challenges was that 4 out of 8 on my team were on IT so availability wasn't so impressive. Also the term was cut short due to international change in calendar for all LCs across the globe. Highlights.. We had good presence of our alumni at major activities!!! I was very happy when a member of our BoA, president of AIESEC Alumni Nigeria and a few other alumni graced us with their presence at our Induction/LTS. We also brought in variety of interns from Egypt, Germany, Cote D'Ivoire and Benin and the bonding was great!

Interviewer : You ran once and lost **cough.. Buhari..cough **.. What gave you the courage to run again?

Ugo: To be honest, I almost left, because I felt very betrayed. In fact, I owe my remaining in AIESEC to one person (I won't say who). But in the end, I painted the big picture for myself and my passion didn't let current situation hinder from achieving the long term goal.

Interviewer : Which AIESECer made your term almost unbearable?

Ugo: Her name is Simi Keye
Interviewer: What would you change about your LCP term?

Ugo : Honestly, every experience is a learning experience whether good or bad. No regrets.
Interviewer: #NC2017#...What was Enugu like for you?

Ugo: Enugu was my eight National Conference!!!!It was my last conference as LCP and I had a blast with my fellow LCPs. It was also fun watching my LC plan from the sidelines.

Interviewer: What next for Ugo, within and outside AIESEC (low-key the whole LC wants to know this one! )?

Ugo :You'll find out soon... Let Hassan have his shine na!

Interviewer : And finally... S/O to your AIESEC padis, the guys you are the most grateful to..

HASSAN

Interviewer : Introduce yourself

Hassan: My name is Hassan Damilola Nurudeen, I have a nickname that nobody seems to call me;Halowonle. I am in 500 level Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I am from Oyo State, Ibadan South-East to be precise

Interviewer : What made you join AIESEC and what has made you stay?

Hassan: I joined AIESEC because they sold what I wanted to hear: travelling. After my mother denied me schooling outside Lagos, it presented itself as the platform to travel. Personally I have travelled to like 10 or 11 states in Nigeria. I don’t mean passing through, I stayed and experienced those states and 5 were made possible through AIESEC. I stayed because for every time I felt like quitting, I always saw the need to stay, maybe a role to make a difference, something always came up. Always.

Interviewer : What makes you awesome

Hassan: I’m Hassan Nurudeen to start with. I keep it real and try to live every moment of my life.

Interviewer : Single or not?

Hassan: Single. And not searching

Interviewer : How many countries have you been to?

Hassan: Just 1. Ghana, for exchange. But I hope to visit 120 before I die.

Interviewer : What do you do for fun. Yunno to unwind from engineering

Hassan: I take my best food, stay far away from my base, with my drink and watch a movie. Practically like a get away

Interviewer : LCP is no joke. What pushed you to apply for it

Hassan: I know right. It took like a month to convince myself to apply and that is the hardest part. But, I and my close friend saw the reason for me to apply after having the SONA session facilitated by Mujidah.

Interviewer : How would you say AIESEC has impacted on you

Hassan: Let’s say I took it upon myself to connect with different people like push myself to meet with different people. This can be attributed to my rule that for everything I do there must be something personal apart from the JD.(NC ENUGU 2017)

Interviewer : which AIESECER do you want to play a prank on

Hassan: Simisola Keye. I would tell her that her project supervisor is professor Mowete. It would give her high blood pressure and it is fun to see her that way.

Interviewer : One thing you can’t live without
Hassan: My phone

Interviewer : What AIESECER do you admire the most.

Hassan: Dare Ogunnaike. The guy is just awesome in his style. Sometimes I copy his style, lowkey don’t let him know. Proud boy. Zainab Aderinola also.

Interviewer : Ugo was as awesome a president as any could be. Is there anything you want to emulate from him

Hassan: I love the fact that he is optimistic and kind and I would like to emulate that from him. Ugo is a friend to all members and he is accessible which I like

Interviewer : Truth!! What should we expect from Hassan as President

Hassan: Lots of changes from membership engagement to membership development. These are the key things.

Interviewer : Which AIESECER bants a lot

Hassan: Mojola Keshiro. But great guy.

Interviewer : Smoothening it up. Lol. Advice to those who don’t take AIESEC serious

Hassan: See you never know where success is. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. For me, my AIESEC experience has just started and it is gonna be way awesome, because my EB guys are super fun; Wura(secret weapon), Medusa(Ife), the special one(Jide Big Chest), Idy( the Tactician), Farouq and the last unknown member. We are the GAMECHANGERS.

AIESEC LAGOS.

  1. Ugo as LCP was fun & worth emulating. I look forward to working with Hassan, the new LCP, as one of his LCVPs. The Game Changers' Tenure promises to be much more fun.
