Hakeem: I'm easy going...I can say mean stuff a lot of times...but when you're out with me...for an AIESEC conference for example...then you'd be surprised because...just because

TOMI
Interviewer: introduce yourself
Tomi: My name is Tomi Olukosi I'm a yr 3 student of architecture in unilag. I'm a libra (oct 12)
Interviewer: what made you join AIESEC?
Tomi: Joining AIESEC has always been a personal dream since I was young. My sister was an AIESECER before me and my mother before her. I knew all about it, and I could see the AIESEC difference in their lives. That was the first thing. Then personally, when I started to think of my life and career, AIESEC was an obvious way to really stand out of a group of students. I wanted to better myself and develop my leadership skills.
Interviewer: what is your measure of success?
Tomi: That's very difficult to say. My greatest achievement would have to be that I'm constantly improving myself, and learning and growing.
Interviewer: How many countries have you been to?
Tomi: Just ghana. On exchange there right now.
Interviewer: What do you like to do for fun?
Tomi: I absolutely love to read. I skate too for fitness sake. And I watch football
Interviewer: Single or in a relationship
Tomi: single
(This is not an ad)
Interviewer: view on homophobia?
Tomi: Homophobia is unnecessary. People are allowed to make their choices and have their taste. Even though i don't think homosexuality was intended by nature (if it was gay folks wouldn't need external objects and artificial lubrication to make stuff work... and they would prolly be able to make babies).
Interviewer: What's the one thing you feel is a silent menace in our society that doesn't really get discussed?
Tomi: In our Nigerian society I think responsible production and consumption is an issue that is seriously understated. We don't manufacture much here in Nigeria. And the little we do produce is ignored by the local market. We are so busy buying imported goods and paying no heed to sustainability in consumption.
Interviewer: what scares you the most and why?
Tomi: Eternity. It's a concept I can't quite wrap my brain around. I'm not sure what is scarier, existing forever or ceasing to exist for eternity.
Interviewer: if you had a million dollars in this recession period what will you get with it?
Tomi: Put some away in a savings account. Invest most of it. But not all in one place. Buy lots of shares. Start a business. Maybe deal in solar panels.
Interviewer: what is the craziest thing you've done since birth?
Tomi: Crazy isn't really my style unfortunately. Maybe skating on dli road at about 2am.
Interviewer: favourite super villain and what would you have done differently if you were he?
Tomi: Mojojojo. He's so smart.
What I would do differently...
The one thing every bad guy gets wrong is they gloat when they should be doing bad guy things and winning.
Interviewer: If you have to leave AIESEC today, why will that be?
Tomi: I really don't see myself leaving AIESEC. But worst case scenario, if there was a world war 3...The logical thing to do would be to drop everything (including AIESEC) and run!
Interviewer: which AIESECER do you desperately want to play a prank on?
Tomi: Amara. Once during an icebreaker I told him some weird stuff about me and he was supposed to tell me weird stuff about him... but he ran away. I always wanted revenge after that.
Interviewer: Which AIESECER do you look up to?
Tomi: Ugo. He's always been a role model figure to me. He's constantly encouraging me to go outside my comfort zone, to do more and to be more.
Interviewer: Word of advice ?
Tomi: AIESEC is an opportunity to get a lot of things right. If you play your cards well, you'll get a lifetime's worth of experience and exposure and friendship.
Interviewer: Shout out to your AIESEC crush
Tomi: Just for the sake of not being a buzzkill...I'm going to shout out to a human who isn't my crush but the world is allowed to think otherwise. Shout out to ayobami. My tiling partner, and my favourite AIESEC human.
