LC Meeting, 19th February, 2016.

My AIESEC people!!!
How are we doing? I’m terribly late right? I’m so sorry I absolutely promise this shall not repeat itself (pinky promise guys). So, how’s our week going. Mine is going.... hmph! I absolutely don’t even feel in the mood for my usual lame jokes (sigh) So, Let’s get down to it. A quick update of how the LC meeting on the 19th of February 2016.

It was a very pedestrian Friday and my week left me feeling quite mentally stressed. I mean look at this guy in the picture below
Where are his shoes?

And when I did put on my shoes, guess what shoes they were. Nike trainers with jalabia -__-. Enough about me and down to the meeting. People rolled in slowly and at their pace at usual. Highlight of my day we had some déjà vu newees ( Imma explain myself in a sec). These are old guys that come in to the meeting room with an expression like “I think I’ve seen this before”. If I were handling the camera, trust me people, I would have had a proper picture to capture the expressions. But, unfortunately, guess who was handling the camera, and check out what he chose to do with it -__-

Capturing the lovely shape of ladies

Taking rubbish selfies!

Step by step, here’s how the meeting went:

·       First we settled down and shared how our weeks went. We came up with a first-letter-of-our-name matching adjective to our names (I got to sit down beside the lovely Lotanna guys). I am Master Mojo (Mojo the Master). Also we were told to say something nasty about ourselves or the colour of our underwear (guess which male was wearing pink pant??

Here's the lovely Lotanna.

·       So, after this Rachel Bassey told us a little of what to expect for the day. We were going to get an HR specialist to take us on a session to enlighten us about employability skills. But first Rachel had something awesome of hers for us. “How to create a five-year plan” We look so excited right?

Look at Idono's face, Lotanna's conentration, Olaolu's "deep thought face", Paige's wonder,  my unaffected calmness.

·       The rate at which Rachel was dropping technical terms had paige and Ife like… They looked so confused.

I wonder what she was calculating

·       Don’t mind me though, it was quite awesome, brought out a brilliant plan from my inside (Yes! My inside!!) A very brief point of epiphany which brought about the eureka moment and… (Lol. Alright I’ll stop now). SO I had a very brief but brilliant plan formed which shall fetch me money very soon guys, watch out.
·       Also we were divided into groups to represent the respective FAs (irrespective of your real FA, for example I was in OGCDP) and were tasked with drawing up a SWOT analysis of the respective FAs. We also drew up a five-year development plan for the FA. We each gave a brief presentation of our ideas. Look at our petite and lovely Isuwat (Correct me if I spelled wrong please)

·       Finally, Samuel Akinlotan arrived in style. He was quite pleasant and learned. I personally learnt a lot from him which I shall not care to elaborate upon. (Come for meetings -__-)

·       Also, before I forget, we had a cameo appearance from our LC coach, miss Esther. She reflected on the agenda for the day and pressed on us a statement “It’s up to you” Lovely lady, Miss Esther. Also we have a new Ivorien intern who is ready to make a change in Nigeria. IGCDP, well done to you guys.

That was all for the day. See you guys same time next week. Here are some relevant pictures I couldn’t fit into the story

Idono's enthusiasm.

This is just a quality capture of the exquisiteness of my watch :)

Why is this lady hiding??

This guy thinks it's by showing up for five minutes during the meeting.

Still hiding.

Backseat girls.

Habeebah looked radiant.
