LC meeting 4th September

Hey AIESEC!!!
How are we feeling?
It's the end of another awesome but work-filled week. A lot of ideas and plans to move AIESEC forward have been springing up. We had our meeting in the best faculty ever; faculty of engineering. But today finding where to sit was more hard than usual (it was in essence a crisis; coincidentally Ugo had a crisis management session. hmmnn. What could this mean
mean?). I'll elaborate more on that later on. So, as usual I'll just give my highlights of the meeting.

  • Ola spearheaded the event. You guys know Olaolu now. The guy with the widest smile ever. Very good monopoly player.
  • Anyways, Olumide took a session. "How to plan for an event". Setting goals is quite important. Having a plan and contingency plans is important. Don't lose direction with your plan(hey! I'm practically repeating the whole session. *mentally stopping myself*) Olumide always seems positive but I think positive isn't like the right adjective to use, right? More like he's just reserving his true feelings, I think he's gonna wake up and just kill someone one day. (*kneels down* Olumide remember I am your  friend, please)
  • The first session had us all in class mode (in essence *zzzz*) so Ola had us all give ourselves a massage. So many reactions in the room, some girls were smiling, some slapping away eager hands of eager male masseurs.Hassan looked so happy. Bones so homophobic.
  • Ugo's session. Crisis management. Crisis is apparently very bad. We had two case studies of Odwalla and Exon on two crisis. Odwalla handled their crisis nicely and bounced back quickly. Exon handled theirs badly. Also i  learnt something new, crisis is the plural of cry, according to Tomiwa. (wawu).
